Peterborough Urban - The first fight of 2008 5/1/08

7.00am …Cold… Bloody Cold.

Who would have thought an English winter would be so…. Cold? Well maybe I should have. Thankfully for us things were about to warm up in more ways than one.

Peterborough Urban. One of the teams all time favourites. 5 Cars of teameasy’s finest are speeding up the A1 to be fashionably late but stylishly in time for the first game as usual. Well… everyone has to be there if we are going to make an entrance huh?!

The turn out looks good… flashes of recognition from all the golden oldies as I step out of the car. A few newbies in the mix too. Excellent stuff, coxey is back in the ranks after missing a few games, and pappy is vertical, pupils are responsive and he is walking in relatively straight lines… obviously wasn’t out with Tera last night then..

Promotions

Well its been due, spoke to Scout and my promotion has been agreed. Off to the office!! So i wont be gaming with you anymore as im an office bod pencil pusher now. On a more serious note ive had my 1st promotion since we started 3 years ago, so hope you chaps think i deserve it

Also would like to promote Pappy to Sgt. I know the fella doesnt want to be a leader but its in his blood, he can lead and needs to more often, the boys stand up and respect him. So well done Pappy!
